"Safety and security don't just happen, they are the result of collective consensus and public investment. We owe our children, the most vulnerable citizens in our society, a life free of violence and fear.:

About Us

This program was started after dealing with a similar situation and discovering the lack of resources available in this area. With the help and support of those who have direct knowledge of what is needed to make these types of situations successful, we have created a program to help lessen the emotional distress for children going through divorce, or similar situations. We feel that by providing a home-type setting, or allowing the child to be in a familiar enviornment, the child and parent are able to focus more on rebuilding their relationship and, hopefully, working toward no longer needing supervision.

All staff members go through extensive training to ensure the safety and well-being, both physically and emotionally, of the children involved. We have a collective 36 years in law enforement, and have enlisted the help of licensed professionals to ensure that each visitation is handled in the most productive and positive way possible.

Working to keep children safe

Shanna Snyder

Executive Director

In 2016, Shanna left the Wichita Falls Police Department, where she had been employed since 2007, to start this program. After having first hand knowledge regarding the need for monitors for supervised parent/child visitations, she and her husband, Joe Snyder, decided to create BBA Family Monitoring Services to ensure there was a safe, stress-free place for the children dealing with divorce or other custody issues within their families.
